DIGITAL PRINTING ON WALLPAPERS
Wallpaper digital printing
COPYEXPRESS, a pioneer company in the graphics arts market in Greece, with an expertise in the digital printing field, offers unique solutions in the decoration of internal spaces, through its wallpaper digital printing services. The big advantage of digital printed wallpapers is that they have no limitations in regards to dimensions, quantity, design, color or texture.
The 4 basic steps in applying wallpaper
1. Before you begin, make sure that the surface you are interested in placing wallpaper, is a suitable one or if it needs to be scraped with a putty knife. After you are done with that, measure the the width of the the wall, the wallpaper is going to be applied on. In order for you not to stray away from the straight line, mark with a pencil 3 points (Low – Middle – High) that will help you align the foil of the wallpaper when applying it.
2.Proceed in applying the suitable glue (which you can find at your local hardware store) with a roll on the big surfaces and with a paint brush around the corners, the door frames and the skirtings. Do not stress. The glue does not dry out fast. Calmly start applying the wallpaper.
3.Once you are done with applying the wallpaper and you are certain that it is set in straight manner, smoothen the surface with a spatula. When doing this procedure on delicate surfaces, use the brush of a broom. Swipe with a wipe Vitex to get rid of any glue residue.
4.Lastly, cut off any excess wallpaper with a cutting knife. Use the edge of the spatula for guidance so that you can cut with precision. With the back of your cutting knife you can even out any small “blisters” that might have been left on the surface.
