Sand frosting membranes transforms simple glass to sand frosting glass. Just like in real sand frosting, one side of the glass is matte while the other one (the side of adhesion with the membrane) is shimmery. Film along with the glass allows light to penetrate and spread evenly throughout the surface, giving a soft aesthetic and mitigating the hardness of intense sunlight.
It also blocks the view from both sides of the glass.
